Stations of the Lost

A Mixed Media-Installation by Sean Paul Gallegos

Stations of the Lost explores the growing disconnect from traditional religious iconography and belief systems in modern culture.
Inspired by the biblical Stations of the Cross, Gallegos' 14 stations become interactive meditations on our obsessions with material goods and commercial icons. Sean Paul explores and unpacks how the 'traditional-sacred' is being replaced with kitsch, toys and profit icons—elevating them as objects of adoration and desire.

Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 2-4:00 pm
